I created two PBWorks wikis for the Sanders Corner and Belmont Station ELL newspapers. Comments are welcome. It was tons of work to start off but now I've got an authentic problem to motivate my students to write for the entire 3rd quarter & maybe even for the entire year. They are going to interview all kinds of people, photograph lost and found items, review books, post poetry and summarize world news.

Your templates look great, and I love the titles of the papers. Did your students come up with those names? I think your kids will have a great time working on this. What an incredible language building activity that your whole school will be able to enjoy. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, they voted on the titles. They are very excited to "get their first assignments" this week. Hope it goes ok! Thanks for the encouragement. You are not a dragon teacher. :)
